Hot Hot Hot!

I've been so excited about this post! The lovely people at Collection 2000 kindly sent me some "Hot Looks" nail polishes to use and review.

I have purchased a few of their collection recently but they have a new spring/summer '11 range due out in stores on May 19 which are the ones I was sent!

Here they are...

From left to right.  Lemon Soda, Candy Floss, Milkshake, Angel Wings and Fruit Loop.

The names are so cute! I love it when companies give polishes names not just numbers.

What I love about these polishes is the brush is bigger than others I own which gives a really even coverage and the fast dry is perfect as who has time to wait for paint to dry!

They are highly pigmented which means I only needed to use 2 coats.  They don't bubble on your nails unless you put a second coat on before the first one has dried but I think that applies to all nail polishes.

And these retail at only £1.79 each!

Which ones your favourite?

"Candy Floss"

"Angel Wings"
"Lemon Soda"
"Fruit Loop"
"Milkshake"
My personal favourite is "Fruit Loop", so summery and seems to go with everything I wear!

Can't to see what other shades they bring out!

Much love. xx

Spring Issue Part 2

So here is the phase 2 of my Spring Issue...

Got this gorge red belt in Accessorise in the sale.

Accessorise £3

Been really loving Matthew Williamson Perfume.  Came in a gorgeous box

It's really difficult to try and explain a scent but the best I can do is to say it's fresh, light, slightly sweet, not overbearing, not heavy.  A really great spring scent.

Reiss had this really pretty pale green top on sale.  I love the back, really cute! They also had this stunning gold belt too.

Riess £11
Riess £19

Some sparklies of recent purchase...

Braclets and gem stone ring Primark £1.50 - £2.50. Cherries Ring from a local boutique. Book Vintage

The " This Little Piggy Went To Prada" book is vinatage and have the funniest rhymes.

The rhyme reads: "There was a young woman that lived in her Choos,
Though she once had a house in a smart Chelsea Mews.
So much on Jimmy,
The house had to go,
And with it, the Amex and husband in tow!"

Barking Mad!

Hiya!  Just a quick blog on how I recreated this Topshop belt at a fraction of the cost, but putting my own spin on it.  Have a look! Let me know what you think.

The belt I loved in Topshop is this one...

Topshop £16

But low behold if I can spend £16 on one skinny belt.  So instead I purchased a plain brown skinny belt from Primark for £1 and added some scotty dog belt pins that you can get on ebay for £5 and this is the result!  What do you think?

See you soon!

The Spring Issue

Hello my lovely followers! Sorry it's been so long. Had a busy March.  But I'm going to make up for it in this supersized blog.  So April is turning out to be a pretty fabulous month so far!  So I definately thought its time to summer up my wardrobe.  Have a browse!

First I'm in love with these little earrings from Primark.  Whenever I wear these I always get lovely comments.  They came in a pack of 3 for £1.50.  Perfect for adding some 50's glamour to your outfit.

Can't wait to wear this little tank top. It's not really something I would normally buy but I'm really for a different look.

Primark £3.00
Found this gorgeous YSL silk scarf in a little vintage boutique locally. I think silk scarfs are such a great accessory to invest in as you can wear them round you neck, attach them to your handbag or wear them as a headband.  This scarf I thought was a bargain at £24.75!

Still in two minds with these peep toe boots.  Love the blue suede effect but don't quite know if I can pull them off.  Will do an OOTD for you to review.

Primark £10
Also in two minds with these wedges.  I think I'm just undecided with wedge shoes in general! But I think would amazing with skinny jeans and a blazer.

Primark £4

I love this 60's style dress (Primark £10).  It reaches just below the knee and I always team in with a belt (Primark £2.50).

If I'm wearing it on a night out I'll wear nude heels or flipflops for a daytime look.  The coral coloured bag (Dorothy Perkins £22) has been a constant feature recently in my outfits.

Coral compliments almost any colour.

Perfect for all occasions!

Primark £6
I love my little collection of sparkly bits that I've picked up recently
Headband and red & white stripy braclet from Accessorise
Other two are from Primark.

Primark £3
I not normally a hat person in the summer but I have fair skin so I figured I should purchase one.
